4. Jesus does miracles

Let’s see what is in today’s treasure chest! Who wants to know? Remember we only open the treasure chest when everyone is sitting down quietly. Now let’s open the chest!

Take out a lunchbox, containing 2 marshmallow fish / Swedish fish and 5 bread rolls. Wow! This looks interesting. It reminds me of one of the miracles that Jesus did. Tell the story of how Jesus fed the 5000 from John 6:1-14. Isn’t it amazing – Jesus cared so much about the people that he made sure they had food to eat. He cares about you, and will do miracles for you if you ask him! (Ask kids what they need Jesus to do for them and lead them in praying for that.)
